Yield: 2 servings, 1 cup per serving

Ingredients

1 medium banana, frozen

1/2 cup frozen fruit (Strawberries, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, or mangoes)

1 cup greens (spinach or kale)

1 cup low-fat plain yogurt

½ cup milk (nonfat, 1%, soy, or almond)

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to the blender. 
  2. Cover and blend until smooth.

Chef’s Notes

If smoothie is too thick, add water or ice. If smoothie is too thin, add more fruit.

If you don’t have a blender, use a fork to mash the fruit. Whisk in the other ingredients. Serve over ice.
