Yield: 4 to 6, ½ cup servings

Ingredients

4 cups fresh or frozen mixed berries

1 cup old fashioned oats 

½ cup, raw walnuts halved or chopped 

½ cup almond meal

¼ cup maple syrup 

¼ cup olive oil 

¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
  2. Peel apples and chop into medium sized cubes
  3. Place fruit in 8×8 glass baking dish or bread loaf pan
  4. Mix oats, walnuts, almond meal, maple syrup, olive oil and salt in bowl
  5. Pour oat mixture on top of fruit
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until fruit is bubbling and topping is crisp and golden
