Ingredients

1-1 ½ bananas (*the riper the banana, the stronger the flavor)

1 avocado, pitted and peeled

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tbsp pure maple syrup, optional

½ tsp pure vanilla extract, optional

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add banana, avocado and cocoa powder to a food processor or blender and mix until just a few chunks remain, about 1 minute.
  2. Add maple syrup (if using) and process until completely smooth, scraping down bowl as needed, about 1 minute.
  3. Add vanilla (if using) and cinnamon and process until combined, about 10 seconds.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until chilled.
