Patient Care Shaped By Patients. That’s Better.

At Near North Health, we believe better health is just around the corner. And it starts with listening to our patients about their experience and learning from their perspectives. One way we do this is through the Patient Advisory Council (PAC). The PAC brings together patients, family members, caregivers, and staff to work as partners in improving the quality of care and patient experience.

What Is the Patient Advisory Council?

The PAC is a group of volunteers who share their experiences, ideas, and feedback to help make our services more patient-centered, accessible, and responsive to the needs of our community. This is partnership in action where your voice directly influences how care is delivered.

What Do PAC Members Do?

PAC members may:

  • Share feedback about their experiences receiving care at Near North Health.

  • Provide input on how we can improve services and patient experiences.

  • Help review and create patient education materials that are clear and easy to understand.

  • Offer ideas for programs, services, and community resources that support patients on their journey to better health.

Who Can Join?

We welcome patients who are interested in improving healthcare for our community. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to share your perspective.

PAC Member Commitment

The Patient Advisory Council meets quarterly with meetings lasting from 1 ½ to 2 hours. PAC members are asked to commit to a term of 1-year term of service at a minimum.
